A very powerful key to your mental capacity is desire.

  • Knowing what you want is not enough; you also need to want it badly enough and be prepared to work hard to get it.
  • All you have to do is accomplish this is to develop a robust learning desire for whatever it is you want to achieve.
  • To achieve your purpose or goal, you must cultivate a desire that will drive you to exert all of your strength and resources.

It is said that desire acts as a goal-striving energy, a kind of internal magnet with the ability to draw whatever is required of you. Depending on how you, the controller, manage it and the goals you set for it, this energy can work for you in either a success magnet or a failure magnet capacity.

Very few maintain a strong, focused desire; instead, they content themselves with wishing or even moderate wanting rather than acting on a strong, intense, and ongoing desire.

Without desire, you wouldn't actually think very much since you wouldn't have much of a reason to. As there would be no justification for such, you would also take no action. Action, both mental and physical, is motivated by desire.

The level of desire you have for the objective, goal, or outcome of your labor will define its strength, whether it be mental or physical.

The more something piques your interest, the harder you'll try to obtain it and the easier it will appear to you when you do.

You see, every activity you complete while being motivated or influenced by a strong desire will seem much simpler than the same task completed without such motivation, influence, or encouragement. The two fundamental factors that influence or urge us to act are desire and attachment.

If our desire or affection were somehow missing or lacking, there wouldn't be any action because there wouldn't be any motivation, cause, or justification for it.

Therefore, we act mostly out of desire or preference most of the time.

Without want or affection, we wouldn't be able to choose or decide, and as a result, we wouldn't do any activities. We can now understand that action is motivated by desire.

If this drive is removed, there won't be any movement or activity. Without this desire, there wouldn't be any motivation to act, which would result in inaction.

In some way or another, desire drives all we do. We would have to behave in some manner or another or even not at all if we didn't have any desires.

Desire is the driving force behind all action; it is the lifeblood of all natural processes, actions, and events. We may quickly learn how to control our own desires rather than allow everything, to achieve, and complete whatever it is that we want to do in our lives, we must first have the desire to do so.
